Your Wellness Plan 

The benefits of a wellness program are to help you avoid the pathway of disease by improving your health behaviour towards your body. Your individual wellness program will help you reduce the physical and mental stress that your body may be under. Wellness programs increase your energy, your productivity, reduce your sick days, and reduce your health cost.

At Franklin Acupuncture you can expect the following:

  • Gathering of information on your history and current health statis.
  • At times we may work with your GP for certain blood testing to get more information.
  • We will assess your qi, blood, tongue, and pulse statis.
  • Give you a TCM diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • If appropriate, treatment with acupuncture, cupping, herbs, kinesiology or guasha.
  • Educate you on healthy diet and lifestyle choices in including exercise programs and stress management.
  • Educate you on the circadian rhythm of the body and ways to best support this.
  • Discuss appropriate supplementation if necessary.
  • Discuss available testing of minerals, intolerances, stool sampling, hormone tests.
  • Avoidance of harmful environmental toxins including electro-magnetic radiation. Such toxins are known endocrine disruptors and xenoestrogens (BPA and BPS) which can interfere and mimic the bodies hormones (increases DNA mutations resulting in carcinogenesis). Understanding the dangers of cosmetic chemicals.
  • Advice on good quality supplements if needed. Good health must start with a healthy diet, supplements are just that, they supplement a healthy diet where needed. Each individual need is slightly different so we might recommend hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) to get a clear idea of what is needed. Not only is it important to consider what we take in, we must also consider factors that increase the excretion and utilisation of nutrients.
